Media Wall Project in London

A chimney breast was breaking up the wall behind the TV in this London flat, and the client wanted it built out rather than worked around. Stunning KB clad the full wall in vertical oak slats, running floor to ceiling, with a low floating media unit in dark wood and marble-effect finish beneath the screen. LED strip lighting is recessed behind the slats for colour-changing ambient light in the evening, and all cabling runs inside the panel to the unit rather than trailing across the herringbone floor. The slatted timber also disguises the uneven depth of the old chimney breast.
