Fitted Kitchens and Wardrobes in Aylesbury
We design, build and fit kitchens and wardrobes for Aylesbury homes, all made at our workshop in Chesham. A lot of the town’s housing is new, and new-build homes bring two common requests: replacing the kitchen the developer fitted, and adding wardrobes to bedrooms that came with none.
Homes we work on in Aylesbury
- New-build estates such as Berryfields and Kingsbrook: rooms are usually square and walls straight, which makes fitting simple, but bedrooms can be small, so sliding doors and full-height units help.
- Victorian and Edwardian terraces nearer the town centre, with the narrow kitchens and alcoves typical of the period.
What we make for Aylesbury homes
- Bespoke kitchens to replace a standard developer kitchen with one planned for how you cook and live. If you are new to this, start with what a fully fitted kitchen is.
- Sliding door wardrobes for smaller bedrooms where a hinged door would hit the bed.
- Fitted bedroom wardrobes in a range of door styles.
A recent project nearby: Milton Keynes
This open-plan kitchen in Milton Keynes runs across two connected zones: a working wall carrying the hob and drawer stacks, and an island anchoring the living half of the room. The client wanted handleless cabinetry, a quartz worktop with real movement in the stone, and lighting designed as part of the joinery. We designed, made and fitted every element ourselves. How it works from our Chesham workshop
Our team has over 15 years of experience designing and fitting bespoke furniture.
- Free design visit: a designer comes to your home in Aylesbury to measure up and talk through your brief, budget and style. The visit is free and comes with no obligation. It usually takes 60 to 90 minutes, and the designer brings material samples so you can see finishes in your own light.
- 3D design and quote: Within 5 working days you receive a 3D design and a written, itemised quote. Nothing moves to manufacture until you have approved it.
- Workshop build: your furniture is made to order at our workshop at 6 Cavendish Road, Chesham, not bought in as flat-pack.
- Fitting: Our own fitters install everything, scribing units to your walls and floor so there are no gaps, and tidy up afterwards. Nothing is subcontracted, and every project is backed by a 10-year guarantee.
Allow 8 to 12 weeks from design sign-off to a finished kitchen, with the installation itself usually 5 days on site. A fitted wardrobe usually takes 2 to 4 weeks from design visit to completion; most are fitted in a day, and a full walk-in takes 3 to 5 days on site.
Aylesbury FAQs
Can you replace the kitchen a developer fitted in a new-build?
Yes. We design the new kitchen around the room, and we supply worktops from laminate to quartz and granite, and integrated appliances fitted as part of the project.
Will fitted furniture affect my new-build warranty?
Check with your warranty provider and your builder before changing anything they installed.
Do you have a showroom in Aylesbury?
No. We are based in Chesham and do not run a showroom. Instead a designer comes to your home and brings samples, finishes and the design with them, so you choose materials in the light of the actual room, and there is no showroom overhead built into the price.
Can you make wardrobes for a small new-build bedroom?
Yes. Sliding doors need no swing clearance, and full-height units use the whole wall. See our sliding door wardrobe project for an example.
